Overview

Pathworth is a personal finance app for iPhone. It is designed around user-entered financial data and local-first storage. This policy explains what the app stores, how optional cloud features work, and how support contact is handled.

Information stored in the app

Pathworth stores the financial records you choose to enter, including accounts, transactions, budgets, recurring templates, categories, shopping-planner items, settings, backup metadata, and related finance information needed to operate the app.

Sensitive app-lock credentials are stored using the system Keychain. Your financial records are stored on your device by default.

Optional iCloud sync and backup

If you enable CloudKit sync, your Pathworth data may sync through Apple's iCloud services under your Apple Account. If you use iCloud Drive backup, backup files may be written to your iCloud Drive. These features are optional.

You can continue using Pathworth locally without enabling iCloud sync. Apple's own privacy terms and iCloud settings also apply to data stored in your iCloud account.

Support email

If you contact Pathworth Support, we receive the information you choose to send by email. This may include your email address, app version, device model, iOS version, screenshots, reproduction steps, and any files or notes you attach.

Support information is used to respond to your request, diagnose issues, improve reliability, and understand app behavior. Do not send financial records, backup files, or sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for the support request.

Advertising and tracking

Pathworth does not use your financial data for advertising, does not sell your financial data, and does not perform cross-app advertising tracking.

Notifications

If you enable reminders or notifications, Pathworth uses system notification features to show reminders you configure. Notification behavior is controlled by your app and iOS settings.

Data export, deletion, and control

You control the records you enter in Pathworth. You can edit or delete app records inside the app, remove local app data by deleting the app from your device, and manage iCloud data through your Apple Account and device settings.

If you exported reports or backup files, those files remain wherever you saved or shared them until you delete them from that location.

Children

Pathworth is not directed to children. The app is intended for personal finance tracking by users who are old enough to manage their own financial records.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as Pathworth changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
